About us
Parlak Aquaculture started its activities in 1995 with the production of 20 tons/year trout at the Kizkayası location in the Derbent Dam in the Bafra district of Samsun. Being one of the pioneers of the sector, Parlak Aquaculture has improved both Samsun and Turkey aquaculture production by increasing its production capacity every year. With our vision guiding the aquaculture sector, we have carried every stage of Turkish Salmon production to the highest level with the quality we have obtained from our experience. in 2022, we increased our production at the Bafra Derbent Dam to 4000 tons /year.
With our new investments in the aquaculture sector, we aim to produce 12,000 tons/year at our farm located in the sea in Yakakent, Samsun, and 4,000 tons/year at our farm located at the Derbent Dam in Derbent, Bafra in 2024. On the way we have set out with this goal, in order to support and improve our production, we have increased the egg capacity of our hatchery, which is producing in Samsun Ladik district, to 30 million, and the hatchery, which is producing in Erzincan, to 25 million.
We have the capacity to process and shock 200 tons of fish per day by taking advantage of the power of current technology in our 7500 square meter indoor processing facility in Samsun Bafra Organized Industrial Zone, which we produce with our experience and attention to quality.
Always taking into account the quality of our production and the satisfaction of our customers, we continue our R&D studies Decently and diligently with our academicians and aquaculture engineers in order to be a pioneer in the production of better and tastier salmon.
